My 1st Scrapcard Experience

As I google for alternative things to do, I found something that needs really creativity and talent. Scrapcard is a kind of hobby that makes you meditate. Cards, colors, figures and lots of things to do.

You can even tell a story or create different characters on your cards..

AnneMarie & Merit and Nicole are the ones that I follow. They are really creative girls and do great job.

For my first scrapcard as I don't know how to start I just made an outline to see what it will look like. Then I put my stickers on the card and here it is:) My card with "Teatime" theme.

Chocolate Raspberry Cupcakes

Yummy cupcakes just came out of oven

Yummyy...The smell of the cupcake coming form the oven covered all the rooms:) I've baked raspberry cupcakes covered with chocolate buttercream.

• 120 gr. unsalted butter
• 2 eggs
• 4 cups all purpose flour
• 1 cup milk
• 1 tea cup couverture  chocolate (little pieces)
• 2 tea spoon cinnamon
• 1 tea spoon baking powder
• 1 pack vanilla powder
• Pinch of salt
• Frozen raspberry
• Washed and cleaned fresh mint leaves

Buttercream

• 250 gr butter
• 600 gr powdered sugar
• 1 1/5 table spoon milk
• 1 table spoon cocoa

Preheat oven to 175 degrees.  Line cupcake pans with paper liners.
Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.  Add butter, milk, cinnamon and vanilla.  Beat for 1 minute on medium speed.  Scrape side of bowl with a spatula.Add eggs to the mixture.  Beat for 1 minute on medium speed. Beat on high speed for 1 minute more. Spoon cupcake batter into paper liners until 2/3 full.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.Let them cool for a while.


For the buttercream mix and beat all the ingredients at high speed and put in the refrigirator for at least 1 hour.


Put some buttercream on every cupcake and decorate with raspberry and mint leaves.

Last year  for one of my friend I have designed my first cake topper. For the wedding proposal he chose the day of her girl friends birthday.

I have done a bride and a bride groom. They loved it so much. On the cake its written  "Will you marry me?".

I love knitting & Rowan

Manual labor fashion never ends. We can't give them away and keep them at chests to protest the memories. Maybe a mother made it or a grandma doesn't matter who did it. It tells us many stories from the past and make us remember the old days with a little smile on our face.
Knitting is one of the most loved crafts. I still keep my childhood cardigans knitted by mom, grandma or aunt. If you take good care of them they keep memories for years. Just they keep us warm in the old days they also form the picture of the past.

Rowan is a brand I like so much. When I was a child I don't know how many times I have dreamed of flying like a bird. How many times we woke up with their colorfull wings and thousand types of voices. Yes! I love the birds, in nature, as an object at home...everywhere... 

The bird as a figure is mostly used in decoration in glass objects, ceramics, pictures, upholstery. Birds also take place at my own house in kitchen, on my cookies, plates and table setting.

My Daughters Birthday

How fast 1 year has passed. My dear daughter, my everything is 1 years old. I have organized a special birthday party for her.


As for the birthday theme ofcourse I chose the birds. I have done the graphic designing of everything..The invitations, the birthday banner, chocolate wraps, thank you cards etc.


And also made the birthday cake, macaroons and cupcakes. Happy birthday my everything.

Delicious Cupcakes

They look small but big in savour. Why all the delicious things are forbidden? How good it will be as we eat what we want but not gain weight...But no! Do everything with due measure.. Ok then I will give you a delicious cupcake receipe..You will eat 1 and stop:) But be sure you can't stop the others at home...

Birthday Cupcakes

•   60 gr unsalted butter
•   1 egg
•   1 cup all purpose flour
•   3/4 of 1 cup milk
•   1 tea cup orange juice
•   1 tea cup chocolate (cut into little cubes)
•   2 tea spoon cinnamon
•  1 tea spoon baking powder
•  1 pack vanilla powder
•  1 pinch salt

Mix all the ingredients with a spatula. Then pour the mixed ingredients into cupcake papers. Fill the half of them. Heat the oven in 175C and bake the cupcakes for about 20 minutes. Test them with a toothpick, if it comes out clean they are ready.

You can use royal icing, buttercream or sugar paste to cover your cupcake.

Marvellous Tables

The table is as important as the food you have. A dining table  set with care by the owner of a house, gives you great pleasure, yet is not decorated with ornaments.


The colors, maybe a centerpiece or a little name card that makes you feel you belong to that house...


The elegance competition varies according to the seasons. In summer the tables are so colorfull. Pinks, blues, yellows and glamorous oranges..In autumn the dance of orange and yellow reminds us the fall of the leaves. In winter a snowman with its carrot nose comes into minds with red, green and white..

Whatever the colors or the seasons are I wish we all have our food in peace and happiness. The savour of the food grows with laugh...
